Prize winner in several international piano competitions such as A. Rubinstein in Tel Aviv, F. Busoni in Bolzano, IMC of Japan in Tokyo, A. Casagrande in Terni, and Unisa Competition in Pretoria, Carlo Guaitoli has performed around the world as soloist with prestigious orchestras, such as Israel Philharmonic, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Johannesburg, Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. Regularly invited in the most important concert halls in Japan, in 2009 he gave his début in China at the Beijing Concert Hall. He recently gave the world première of the Second Piano Sonata by Carlo Boccadoro at the Brescia & Bergamo Piano Festival. He has recorded for EMI, Sony and Brilliant Classics.

Together with Franco Battiato, a renowned Italian composer and singer, he recorded and toured as conductor with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, and other major European Orchestras.

Professor of Piano at the Conservatory in Terni, he gave master classes at the NYU, the Showa University in Tokyo, Kyungsung University in Busan.

He is the artistic director of the A. Casagrande International Piano Competition in Terni.
